Zinnia Nomura is a multi-skilled circus artist and former dancer who has been performing professionally since 2014. She was trained in classical ballet at the prestigious Hamburg Ballet School and worked for several years as a dancer at state theaters around Germany. In a leap of faith, she then decided to run away to the circus, specializing in contortion and trapeze. She trained at the Carampa School in Madrid and in independent courses at Stockholm University/SKH, as well as continuously educating herself through coaching and workshops. She loves to share her art at theatre and circus festivals, events, kids‘ shows, cabarets and dinner shows. In her time on stages around Germany and Europe, she has played a dancing sausage, an aerial sloth, a showgirl, a video-game avatar and a glowing caterpillar. Besides performing, she also teaches and produces events.
